Website Design & Development

Sites built to load fast, rank well, and let you make updates yourself.

Overview

How this works

A slow site or one you can't update without calling a developer costs you in two ways: search rankings (page speed is a ranking factor) and lost time. We build on modern infrastructure rather than no-code page builders, which keeps pages lean and fast by default, and connect every site to a content system built for non-technical editing — so changing a phone number or adding a photo doesn't require a support ticket.

What's included
  • Custom design built around your actual services and customers, not a generic template
  • Content management system you can use without developer help
  • Mobile-first build, tested against Core Web Vitals benchmarks
  • Information architecture planned around real search terms your customers use
  • Full redirect mapping on a rebuild, so existing rankings carry over
  • Structured data, analytics and Search Console configured before launch

Search architecture is a build decision, not a later fix

Most website projects treat SEO as something that happens after launch, which is why so many redesigns lose rankings. The decisions that determine whether a site can rank — how URLs are structured, which pages exist at all, what each page is genuinely about, how content is marked up for search engines and AI answer engines, how fast a page renders on a phone on a weak connection — are all made during the build.

We plan information architecture around the searches your customers actually run before any design work starts, so the site launches with pages worth ranking rather than a navigation menu that reflects your internal org chart.

How a build runs

Discovery and architecture first: what you sell, who buys it, what they search for, and what the current site is getting wrong. That produces a page map and a priority order rather than a wireframe with lorem ipsum in it.

Design and build follow, mobile-first and tested against Core Web Vitals benchmarks as the work goes rather than as a post-launch audit. Content is written or migrated with search intent in mind. Then launch: redirects mapped from every old URL so existing rankings carry over, structured data in place, analytics and Search Console configured before the site goes live rather than a month after.

Timelines depend on scope and on how quickly content and approvals come back, and we give you a real date range after discovery rather than a number on a pricing page.

Redesigns and rebuilds

If you already have a site, a rebuild carries a risk a new build does not: losing the rankings and traffic the current site has earned. The redirect map, the content parity check and the indexation review after launch are the parts of a redesign that protect that, and they are the parts most commonly skipped.

If your current site is slow, hard to edit, built by someone who has since disappeared, or simply older than your business now is, the audit will tell you plainly whether a rebuild is genuinely the right call or whether targeted fixes would get you most of the way for a fraction of the cost.

Questions

Website Design & Development, frequently asked

Do I own the website?

Yes. You own the site, the content, and the domain. We build it and can maintain it, but nothing is locked to us.

Can I update the site myself after launch?

Yes — the site is connected to a content management system built for non-technical editing. We’ll walk you through it at handoff.

Will a redesign hurt my current rankings?

It can, and that is the single biggest risk in any rebuild. Every old URL gets mapped to its replacement with a permanent redirect, content parity is checked page by page, and indexation is reviewed after launch — which is how rankings carry across instead of resetting.

How long does a website build take?

It depends on the number of pages and how quickly content and approvals come back. You get a real date range after discovery, not a generic estimate before anyone has looked at what is actually involved.

Do you host the site you build?

We can. Managed hosting and ongoing optimization is a separate service, so build and hosting can be bought together or independently — you are not locked into either by taking the other.
